Washington & Jefferson College offers students the opportunity to study their interests anywhere in the world during summer break. Students devise an organized proposal and budget that demonstrates their dedication to their project. The Magellan Project has given me the chance to travel, learn about a different society and culture, and find myself. Without this project, I would not have had the financial ability to explore Finland and learn about the country's child services and policies.
